🕊️ CRAZY CALM Worship This Sunday Things rarely turn out exactly the way we expect. Sometimes the plans fall apart. Sometimes the answer takes longer than we hoped. Sometimes we find ourselves worrying about things we simply cannot control. But what if peace doesn’t come from knowing how everything will turn out? What if peace comes from trusting the One who can make a way out of no way? This Sunday, we’ll explore Isaiah 25 and Philippians 4 and talk about finding a kind of calm that doesn’t always make sense—a Crazy Calm rooted in trust rather than certainty. Come as you are. Bring your worries, your questions, your hopes—and maybe even the things that didn’t go according to plan. Come worship with us this Sunday at 9 a.m.! 📖 Isaiah 25 & Philippians 4 🕊️ Crazy Calm ❤️ A place to breathe, connect, and remember that we are not alone. |

🎃 Pipe Screams: Halloween at Peru Community Church 🎃
Get ready for a Halloween celebration with a little music, a little mischief, and plenty of treats!
Peru Community Church invites children, families, friends, and neighbors to join us for “Pipe Screams,” a fun and family-friendly Halloween afternoon on Sunday, October 25, from 3:30–5 pm. And yes—there will be screams coming from the pipes!
Our pipe organ will take center stage as we enjoy some spooky sounds and Halloween favorites. It will be a chance for children and adults alike to experience the organ in a whole new way and discover just how much fun those pipes can make!
But the music is only the beginning. Come ready to get creative with Halloween crafts, warm up with apple cider and donuts, and show off your best costume during our costume parade. Then we’ll turn the church into a festive trick-or-treating adventure, with treats waiting throughout the building.
We want this to be an afternoon where everyone feels welcome. Come dressed as a favorite character, a superhero, a princess, an animal—or simply come as yourself! Costumes are encouraged, but certainly not required.
Pipe Screams is more than a Halloween party. It is an opportunity to open our doors, gather across generations, welcome our neighbors, and create some joyful memories together. We hope families who are part of our church community will invite someone who may not normally walk through our doors. So grab your costumes, bring your family and friends, and join us for an afternoon of music, crafts, cider, donuts, costumes, and trick-or-treating.

Honoring Our Veterans this November
The Altar Team is preparing a special Veterans Day display to honor those who served our country, and would like the congregation’s help!
We are asking you to provide a framed 5x7 or 8x10 photograph of a military loved one in uniform. Please place the following information on the back of the framed photograph: - Your Name
- Name of Veteran
- Years of Service
- Branch of Service
Please also let us know if we have permission to keep the photograph for future years, so that we may continue to honor and remember them.
Please bring framed photographs to the church no later than Sunday, October 25.
Thank you for helping us honor our veterans and remember the sacrifices made by those who served.
