Second Monday Men's Breakfast Coming Up on October 13th
All men are invited to Rulfs, the 2nd Monday of each month at 7:30 am for breakfast, conversation, and fellowship. This will be a casual gathering with Pastor Phil. A sign up sheet will be in the back of the sanctuary and even if you do not sign up, you are still welcome! Each person will be responsible for their own bill. |
NEW TASKS ADDED - CHECK THE BOARD AFTER CHURCH
In response to this important question, the Council has created a list of priority tasks where your help is most needed.Thanks to Meg Edwards, who has graciously taken on the work of writing up these tasks, capturing photos, and creating a bulletin board in the Coffee Hour room, you can now easily see where you might lend a hand. Take a look, pray about it, and see where your gifts and time can make a difference! You can view the full list of tasks below. |

Calling All Peru Community Church YOUTH!
Peru Community Church youth are invited to join the youth who attend Plattsburgh, Saranac & Dannemora churches to make “The Adirondack Youth Group”! We are planning lots of great activities both for fun and for our communities.
ON OCTOBER 26th at 12:30 pm, the youth will meet at Plattsburgh UMC for Trunk or Treat!
PLEASE share this with any teen grade 6-12. **A teen does not have to go to these churches to be in youth group! All are welcome! Bring a friend with you! For more info reach out to Carrie Coryer at 518-534-2184.

Volunteers Needed for Saturday, 10/4, Half Price Sale on 10/5, and Bag Sale on 10/11
Granny’s Attic could use more folks to help at the sale Saturday. No experience needed. Greet visitors, Help pack up purchases, straighten tables, carry items to cashiers, etc. Arrive anytime between 8:30 & 2, even if for a hour. Please park as far away as you are able to leave closer spots for shoppers.
Half-price sale will be held on Sunday, October 5th from 10 am to 2 pm. Coffee Hour after worship will be held in the Fellowship Center so you can browse.
Helpers will be needed on Sunday from 2 pm to 4 pm to organize. Then again on Thursday afternoon from 1 pm to 4pm and Friday from 9 am to 4 pm to clean up, contact thrift shops in the area for delivery/pick-up of left- over items, and organize for the October 11th bag sale. Any help you can provide is appreciated.

PCC Church Conference – October 9th at 6 p.m. at Plattsburgh United Methodist Church
This is our church's annual meeting. All members of the church are encouraged to attend.
The District Superintendent, Rev. Debbie Earthrowl will preside. At this meeting, we will vote on Pastor’s Compensation for 2026, elect officers to the Church Council, and gather with other congregations in the area to hear stories of what God is doing in our midst. |
Adirondack/Albany District Day - Saturday, October 25th at Saratoga Springs UMC
Pre-registration is required and there is no charge for this event.
List of classes offered and registration form is available in the back of the sanctuary or in the church office (on the purple paper).
Many of us have attended District Day and enjoy the classes and meeting others from the churches in our district. |
