🌎🍞 World Communion Sunday 🍞 🌎
This Sunday, we celebrate World Communion Sunday—a day when Christians around the world gather around tables, share bread and cup, and remember that we are part of something much bigger than ourselves.
Different languages. Different cultures. Different traditions. Different ways of understanding faith. But one table. Come join us for a joyful, casual celebration of communion, community, and the wonderfully diverse family we call the church.
Come as you are. Bring your questions, your stories, your joy—and maybe even your appetite! We’ll save you a seat. |

THANK YOU!
We are so grateful to everyone who helped make this sale the amazing success it was! At last count, (before the 10/3 Bag Sale, we have collected over $9,400, with more than $1,500 raised through the bake sale!
But the success of the sale was about so much more than the money raised. Friendships were made and deepened, community members had the opportunity to turn someone else’s “trash” into their treasure, and countless items were given a second life instead of ending up in a landfill.
Thank you to everyone who donated, baked, sorted, set up, worked the sale, cleaned up, counted money, delivered items, put up and took down signs, and helped in all the ways that made this possible.
We’re already looking ahead to Granny’s Attic #18, coming in May 2027! |
|
A very special thank-you to Barb, our fearless and humble leader, whose dedication and hard work helped bring it all together.
Thank you again for making Granny’s Attic such a wonderful tradition for our church and community.
Tentatively scheduled for May 15th.
Date subject to change. |

🎃 Pipe Screams: Halloween at Peru Community Church 🎃 Get ready for a Halloween celebration with a little music, a little mischief, and plenty of treats! This year, Peru Community Church invites children, families, friends, and neighbors to join us for “Pipe Screams,” a fun and family-friendly Halloween afternoon at the church from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. And yes—there will be screams coming from the pipes! Our pipe organ will take center stage as we enjoy some spooky sounds and Halloween favorites. It will be a chance for children and adults alike to experience the organ in a whole new way and discover just how much fun those pipes can make! But the music is only the beginning. Come ready to get creative with Halloween crafts, warm up with apple cider and donuts, and show off your best costume during our costume parade. Then we'll turn the church into a festive trick-or-treating adventure, with treats waiting at the end of the parade. We want this to be an afternoon where everyone feels welcome. Come dressed as a favorite character, a superhero, a princess, an animal—or simply come as yourself! Costumes are encouraged, but certainly not required. Pipe Screams is more than a Halloween party. It is an opportunity to open our doors, gather across generations, welcome our neighbors, and create some joyful memories together. We hope families who are part of our church community will invite someone who may not normally walk through our doors. So grab your costumes, bring your family and friends, and join us for an afternoon of music, crafts, cider, donuts, costumes, and trick-or-treating. 👻 PIPE SCREAMS - Halloween at Peru Community Church - 3:30 pm to 5 pm 👻 🎹 Pipe Organ “Screams” 🎨 Halloween Crafts 🍎 Cider & Donuts 👻 Costume Parade 🍬 Trick-or-Treating Come for the music. Stay for the fun. Bring a friend! Everyone is welcome! |
