Dear Friends,
This Sunday, I invite you to join us for worship as we reflect on one of the most beloved stories in the Gospels—Jesus feeding the five thousand (Matthew 14:13–21).
In a world that often tells us there isn’t enough—enough time, enough resources, enough hope—Jesus offers a different vision. Beginning with five loaves and two fish, he reveals a God of abundance, generosity, and community. Together we’ll explore what it means to trust that there is enough when we share what we have and care for one another.
We’ll celebrate Holy Communion, remembering that Christ’s table is open to everyone. Wherever you are on your faith journey, you are welcome.

Children’s ministry in the 21st century looks very different than it did a generation ago. Rather than simply recreating what once was, we want to imagine something new—something that is welcoming, creative, relational, and meaningful for today’s children and families.
If you have a passion for children, enjoy working with families, have creative ideas, or simply want to be part of the conversation, we’d love to have you join us as we explore what the future of children’s ministry at Peru Community Church could be.

The Altar Team is seeking sponsors to help purchase the last two beautiful banners shown below.
Each banner costs $150 and may be dedicated in honor of or in memory of a loved one. A commem-orative tag is included with each banner, allowing the honored individual's name(s) to be displayed.
These banners are the same high quality as those currently hanging in our sanctuary and will enhance our worship space for years to come.
